Our Construction Management, Facilities Management and Building Operations certificate programs provide you the opportunity to complete a training curriculum that meets your professional development needs. Certificate program participation also offers discounted fees and is an impressive addition to your resume or portfolio. CEUs are also available.
Construction Management
Earn the Certificate in Construction Management by completing six of the workshops, including four "core" workshops (one of which has two sessions) and two elective workshops, on our extensive list of informative offerings.

Facilities Management
This program is designed for practicing facility management professionals and provides them with the opportunity to gain the knowledge necessary to develop and execute the strategic and operational missions facilities management requires. Earn the Certificate of Facilities Management by completing six of the workshops, including five "core" workshops and one elective, on our extensive list of offerings.

Connecticut School Buildings and Grounds Association Certificate
In partnership with the Connecticut Schools Building and Grounds Association, The Construction Institute is pleased to offer a certificate program specifically designed for CSBGA members, Facilities Operations and Management for Public School Buildings and Grounds Professionals. CBSGA is an organization that supports public school facilities directors and business managers. Members are involved in the Connecticut public school systems, regional school districts, and regional education centers such as CREC and ACES.
The CSBGA members certificate program includes six required "core" workshops and four electives that may be chosen from among any in the Construction Workshop course catalogue of offerings. Six Requirements:
- Leadership for the Seasoned Professional
- Fundamentals of Facilities Management
- Facility Construction & Project Management
- Facility Planning & Design Management
- Environmental Health & Safety for Facilities Managers
- Disaster-Emergency & Environmental Response
Selected workshops will be offered to CSBGA members at regular meeting for the membership's convenience. Some CSGBA scholarships may be available for electives.
