The average full time employee will spend at least 2,000 hours at work in one year. Literally, one half of a person's time is spent either asleep or at work. A person who starts working at age 22 and who retires at age 63 will work approximately 85,280 hours in their life time.

Career Counseling and Professional Development can assist you in finding a work environment that is challenging and rewarding. With that much of your life committed to your career, you deserve the chance to explore your career options and create a career strategy.

If you are unsure whether Individual Career Counseling is right for you, we encourage you to visit one of our Free Career Counseling Information Sessions.

Our Free Information Sessions:

  • Provide an overview of Career Counseling Process
  • Allow you to ask a qualified counselor questions about your unique career situation
  • Present you with an opportunity to obtain literature and information about other Center programs that might be more helpful to your particular situation
  • Teach you about a specific topic that may be helpful to you
  • Enable you to learn about our Career Counseling appointment packages and our sliding scale (for qualified applicants)

Free Information Sessions are held on some Tuesdays from 6-7pm.  For more information, click here.
